Coming from a great vineyard and aged 22 months in new barrels, it has a great sense of freshness, ripe tannins, and one heck of a great finish.

A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color. It leaps with vibrant redcurrants, black raspberries, and blackcurrant pastilles scents plus rose oil, crushed rocks, and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, it is tightly wound and vibrant with loads of energy, fine-grained, long and perfumed.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch Vineyard is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose is redolent of warm black plums, black raspberries and blackcurrant pastilles with touches of lavender, dried Provence herbs and tilled earth. Full-bodied, the palate delivers mouth-coating black fruits with a firm, chewy texture and lively line of freshness, finishing long with an herbal lift. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)
