Do Good While Drinking Great Wine
Play Ball with The Bellinger Family Foundation,
Uncork for a Cause and Amici Cellars
With Major League Baseball Spring Training in full swing, we’re celebrating America’s favorite pastime by partnering with The Bellinger Family Foundation and Uncork for a Cause to create an exceptionally good wine that helps to pour resources into underserved communities.
Los Angeles Dodgers First Baseman Cody Bellinger has achieved more in his 25-years than most athletes in a lifetime, earning 2017 Rookie of the Year, 2019 National League MVP and 2020 World Series honors, all within his first four seasons. He achieved these honors through dedication to his team and work ethic, but nothing could make him more proud than bringing a World Championship back to Los Angeles.
Cody is equally committed to improving lives in his communities through educational, health and athletic programs. To help achieve that goal, The Bellinger Family Foundation has partnered with Uncork for a Cause and the dedicated team at Amici Cellars to produce a stunning 92-point Cabernet Sauvignon with 50% of gross sales from each bottle sold to support various community initiatives in Los Angeles and the Bellinger’s hometown of Phoenix.
Purchase a bottle or autographed bottle of the 2018 Amici Cody Bellinger Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon and play ball with the Bellingers knowing a portion of your proceeds are directly benefiting those most in need. For home field advantage, our winemaking team recommends pairing this lush, full-bodied wine with peanuts and Cracker Jacks.
Baseball and athletics are in the Bellinger family genes. Cody’s father Clay played with the Yankees from 1999-2001, the San Diego Padres drafted his younger brother Cole, and sister Ashli, a collegiate volleyball player, is now a professional counselor in the Los Angeles area. His mother Jennifer was also a collegiate volleyball player and worked with youth through her church for 13 years.
Together the family has created The Bellinger Family Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to support youth in local Los Angeles communities through sports camps and recreational resources, and Jack’s House in Phoenix, a mental health intervention arm named after their beloved Uncle Jack, its mission to develop and deliver long-term solutions aimed at breaking the cycle of homelessness amongst America’s mentally ill population. Through these initiatives The Bellinger Family Foundation is looking for opportunities to give back to those in need, as this is their heartbeat and passion.
