Moving to the reds, the 2017 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley comes from multiple clones and was mostly destemmed. Aged in 35% new French oak, it offers outstanding strawberry and earthy cherry fruits as well as plenty of forest floor, smoky oak and violets. With medium-bodied richness and terrific elegance, drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
