A relatively new site for this team, the 2018 Chardonnay Flora Marie Vineyard comes from the Russian River Valley and the Montrachet clone of Chardonnay. It was fermented in barrel and will see 11 months in 55% new French oak. This is another beautiful wine with lots of salinity and minerality as well as medium to full body, bright yet integrated acidity, plenty of peach and pineapple fruit, and a great finish. It’s a balanced, classic Russian River Chardonnay in the making.
